While there are many inter-worksheet and inter-workbook cell references, there is also a definite structure to them, and there are no circular references.
Whenever I issue a [Shift-]Ctrl-Alt-F9 outside of VBA execution (or a Calculate Full[Rebuild] in a VBA sub), the dashboard that is the active worksheet updates fine, but some of the rollup cells in the nonactive dashboard do not.
I've tried to only select the location column, but it does not display anything — not anything like the thing I want, anyways.
Say that there are 100 rows, with five different countries: America, United Kingdom, France, China and Germany.Trust no-one and nothing unless you've seen it with your own eyes - honestly - I've seen "experienced" users do the strangest things... The only cell that I am having problems with is: Example: I need to figure the formula for cost 20%. =sum(d3 20%) I know the formula I just showed is incorrect but its an idea of what I need. This sounds as though Calculation had been set to Manual rather than Automatic. Or change the setting via Tools Does anyone know if there is a way to make an excel spreadsheet template that when I open a new xls based on that template will generate a number and then remember that number so that the next time I open a new xls based on the template it will generate the next number in sequence ?? I couldn't duplicate the problem but they said they checked the formula, made sure they clicked off the updated cell, even saved the spreadsheet, etc.These are experienced Excel users so I trust they know what they are doing.
